The Symbolism of Lord Krishna

January 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

Krishna’s life brought about a profound and powerful influence on human thought and life. Here is an opportunity to understand why.

Lord Krishna is a picture of Perfection. His entire life is symbolic of spiritual lessons to be learnt and practised. Krishna was born in a prison. He is blue in color and wears yellow robes. A famous story of Krishna is when he killed the evil serpent with many heads. This story has a deep philosophical significance. Krishna is also described as having a cane in one hand and the sacred gesture of the jnana mudra in the other. A lesson to all human beings to make the choice to turn towards the spiritual path.
