Vedanta is a knowledge of life and living. The original texts in which this knowledge is contained are called the Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita. However these text may be difficult to understand directly. Additionally, one may need an understanding of the fundamental concepts of life and living beforehand. The Vedanta syllabus serves this purpose. A systematic, methodical course of study guiding one from basic principles to higher truths of life. The 3 sessions will outline the literature authored and commented on by Swami Parthasarathy. These books are the literature that will be used in the weekly classes. The program will commence with an explanation of Vedanta and a follow up session on the outline of the book The Fall of the Human Intellect concluding with an orientation.
